Dave Wingert
|
Dave Wingert was aware that entertainment blood was in his veins from a very young age. It wasn't until his college years that Dave discovered that the biological father he never knew had worked in radio during the 30s and 40s. Born in New York City, Dave's first radio job came in 1970 in Mt. Kisco, New York. He has since worked in Omaha at WOW, KQKQ, KEFM, and KGOR, in Des Moines at WHO, and in Seattle at KLSY and the nationally-syndicated show "Dave 'Till Dawn." While in Omaha, he stacked up three "Best Radio Personality" awards from Omaha Magazine and hosted "Good Day" on TV as well as a children's show.
